For fresh-water sailing in Nature’s Valley lagoon vessels can be chartered and tuition is available from De Vasselot Nature Reserve. Just 20 km from Nature’s Valley is Keurbooms estuary for an eco-experience with unsurpassed views, lyrical birdcalls and rocky outcrops. A ferry trip allows for swimming, walking, and picnicking opportunities.
Salt-water vessels can be rented 30 kilometres from Nectar cottage in Plettenberg Bay or in picturesque Knysna.
