This area offers the opportunity of scuba diving, seal diving (highly recommended), shark diving, and even crocodile diving (Cango caves). A wide variety of colourful sponges such as Ascidians, Sea urchins and Anemones flourish in this area. Most of the fish species are endemic to the this area of South Africa and occur nowhere else in the world. Raggertooth and Smooth Hound sharks are frequently seen and other residents include Red roman, Musselcracker, Blacktail, Zebra, Juvenile, Poenskop, Steepies, as well as Sand sharks and Eaglerays.
