Scenic routes and drives

Although the entire area of Nature’s Valley is scenic, below are some spectacular short or day trips. Some of these places can be accessed by a short, easy walk.

Garden of Eden Picnic site, circular walk and Big Tree
The Big Tree (Storms River Gorge) An 800 – year old Yellow Wood giant
R340 Plettenberg Bay to Kruisvallei* Excellent vantage point to view the Tsitsikamma and Wynandskraal mountains

Plettenberg Bay Arts & Crafts Route Historical Route
Gold Rush Route Now a ghost town, 1876 gold-rush town Millwood still has remains of old buildings, street signs, a graveyard and mine shafts. The Millwood hiking trail covers 5,6 km in this area.
